Unbeaten Ospreys went back to the top of the Guinness PRO12 with a nine-try victory over Treviso at the Liberty Stadium. The 64-10 success was their second 50-point demolition of an Italian team after they saw off Zebre 59-5 on the opening day of the season. The Ospreys tries came from centre Ben John, hooker Sam Parry, wing Jeff Hassler, full-back Dan Evans, wing Dafydd Howells, a penalty try, and replacements Keelan Giles, Maafu Fia and Alun Wyn Jones. Sam Davies also kicked 11 points and Dan Biggar eight.Treviso, who were handed three yellow cards, scored a late try through flanker Dean Budd, with a penalty from Tommaso Allan and a conversion for Ian McKinley. It was such a dominant performance by the home side that they had secured the try bonus point four minutes before half-time as they led 31-3.It took Ospreys until the 16th minute to get on the scoreboard, with a Davies penalty cancelled out two minutes later by his opposite number Allan.Gradually Ospreys began softening up the Italian sides defence to score four tries in the space of 15 minutes.First, centre John broke through a gap and then stepped outside a would-be tackler to go over under the posts and he was followed over by Parry, who had scored a hat-trick against Zebre. Both tries were converted by Davies. The third try came when Hassler received a well-timed pass to sprint over unopposed from 25 metres out,, before some fine handling from the likes of Howells and skipper Tom Habberfield allowed Evans go over for the bonus-point try.dddddddddddd The two tries were converted by Davies.Ospreys dominance continued unabated after the break as they registered another two tries. Wing Howells dived spectacularly into the corner after being put over by Evans, a score converted by Davies.Matters only got worse for Treviso who had replacements Luca Bigi and McKinley sin-binned. McKinleys yellow came after a high tackle on Habberfield which saw the referee award Ospreys a penalty try that was converted by Biggar.Biggar had come on along with fellow internationals Jones, Rhys Webb and Sam Baldwin, only to increase the misery for Treviso. Another replacement in Giles, making his Ospreys debut, had only been on a few moments before showing his speed to go over for Ospreys seventh try with Biggars conversion taking his side to 50 points. With a third Treviso player in the sin bin - Braam Steyn was handed a yellow for a tip tackle on Biggar - Ospreys registered an eighth try when Fia crashed over for Biggar to convert before Jones went in for the ninth, again converted by Biggar. In the final minute Treviso grabbed their only try from Budd, converted by McKinley.
